    Golden-hour light, open fields, mountain views, and room to run. This is my signature session, built for dogs who love to explore and families who want portraits that feel like a real day together. We'll meet at a location that suits your dog, whether that's a quiet trail in the Blue Ridge, a riverside park, a farm, or your own backyard. We'll mix classic portraits, action shots, and candid moments with you and your pup.

    Not an off-leash dog? No problem. Many dogs stay leashed for safety, and I edit the leash out of your final images.

    What's included:

    • 60 to 90 minute session at a location of your choice, timed for the best natural light

    • A pre-session planning call to talk about your dog's personality, energy, and location ideas

    • Up to 2 dogs, and you're welcome to join in

    • 15 professionally edited high-resolution images

    Clean, classic, and all about your dog.

    A studio session takes away every distraction so your dog's expression is the star. Think timeless portraits on a seamless backdrop: crisp, bold, and made for big prints on your wall. The studio is a private, enclosed space, so your dog can be safely off-leash. It's also the perfect choice when the weather won't cooperate.

    I work at your dog's pace, with breaks for sniffing, water, and treats. Puppies, seniors, and nervous pups all do well here.

    What's included:

    • 45 to 60 minute private session in the studio

    • Your choice of backdrop colors

    • Up to 2 dogs, plus human-and-dog portraits if you'd like

    • 12 professionally edited high-resolution images

    • Private online gallery to view, download, and share

    Best for: puppies, senior dogs, small or nervous dogs, wall art, and any time of year.

  • Short, sweet, and made for the moments worth celebrating.

    From holiday cards to birthdays, these sessions turn a special occasion into portraits you'll keep for years. Choose a scheduled mini session on a themed set, or book a private session around your own celebration.

    Seasonal Mini Sessions: starting at $195

    These are held on select dates throughout the year, with a styled set ready when you arrive. Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly, especially before the holidays. Holiday minis are offered in the fall so your images arrive in time for cards and gifts.

    • 20 minute session on a themed set

    • 1 dog, plus $50 for each additional dog

    • 6 professionally edited high-resolution images

    • Private online gallery, with an option to buy more images and holiday cards

    Seasonal themes may include:

    • Holiday / Christmas: cozy sets with twinkle lights, trees, and sweaters

    • Fall & Halloween: pumpkins, autumn leaves, and costumes

    • Valentine's Day: hearts, roses, and plenty of puppy love

    • Spring blooms: flowers and fresh Virginia greenery

    Private Celebration Session: starting at $295

    This is a session built around your dog's big day, at the studio or on location.

    • Birthdays & Gotcha Days: pupcakes, party hats, and celebrating another year together

    • New puppy: capturing those tiny paws before they grow

    • Adoption stories: celebrating a rescue's first days home

    • Legacy sessions: a gentle, unhurried session for senior or ill dogs, at whatever pace your dog needs

    Includes 45 to 60 minutes, 12 edited images, and a private online gallery.

    1. Book your session. Choose your session and date, and a [$100] retainer reserves your spot. The retainer goes toward your session fee.

    2. Plan together. We'll chat about your dog's personality, quirks, and favorite treats, and pick the right location or set.

    3. Photo day. Bring treats, a favorite toy, a leash, and water. We'll take it slow and have fun.

    4. Your gallery. Edited images arrive in a private online gallery within [2 weeks], ready to download, share, and print.

  • Absolutely. Wiggly, goofy, and high-energy dogs make some of the best photos. Sessions are dog-led, and movement often gives us the most natural shots.

  • Yes. Let me know ahead of time and I'll plan a quieter location or a studio session, extra warm-up time, and plenty of breaks.

  • Please do! Dog-and-human portraits are some of the most treasured images. Just let me know when you book.

  • High-value treats, a favorite squeaky toy, a leash, water, and waste bags. You can also bring any bandanas, collars, or accessories you'd like included.

  • For outdoor sessions, we'll reschedule at no charge or move to the studio, whichever you prefer.
